The Field Falcons were the 52-35 winner over the Washington International Red Devils when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. Field took a serious blow against Washington International on Tuesday, falling 73-32.
It was another big night for Jeremy Bedard, who scored 22 points along with three steals for Washington International. The matchup was Bedard's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Derin Kirtman, who scored eight points along with seven assists.
Field's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Washington International, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Field will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Model Secondary School for the Deaf at 7:00 p.m. on January 23, 2024.
