CAMAS, Wash. -
Camas (Wash.) snapped the five-game winning streak of Cascade (Everett, Wash.), with a 63-28 victory on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Josh Mattox in the first quarter, the Papermakers were up 41-14 at the half.
Camas expanded its lead to 49 points entering the fourth quarter. The Papermakers scored three times in the third, including once on a touchdown catch by
Michael Digenova.
With the win Camas extended its winning streak to 11 games. Camas defeated Monroe 55-20 last week.
The defeat comes as a step back for Cascade, who notched a 31-28 victory over Auburn Riverside in its previous outing.
