Cornerstone Christian has gone a perfect 7-0 against Pineview Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Warriors at 3:00 p.m. Cornerstone Christian will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
Cornerstone Christian's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Tabernacle 18-0. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won eight contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Gage Donaldson and Greyson Hale made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Donaldson pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Hale tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Cornerstone Christian is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-5 otherwise. At the plate, Donaldson went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Hale got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs.
In other batting news, Cornerstone Christian got a massive performance out of Jacob Monroe, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Monroe has become a key player for the Eagles: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 3-5 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Reid Hendon, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.
Cornerstone Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .562. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .355 or higher in five consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Pineview Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 29-1 to Cornerstone Christian back in March. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost seven in a row.
Cornerstone Christian's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Pineview Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Everything went Cornerstone Christian's way against Pineview Christian when the teams last played back in March, as Cornerstone Christian made off with a 29-1 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
