It's playoff time, and Manteno had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish on Tuesday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-1 win last Monday.

Maddie Gesky paced Manteno's offense, picking up nine kills. Gesky were helped by Leah Donnelly and Danika Fletcher, who contributed nine assists each. Donnelly and Fletcher didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

Manteno is on a roll lately: they've won 24 of their last 26 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-5 record this season. As for Bishop McNamara, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-14.

Manteno didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Seneca on the 30th. Bishop McNamara does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
