The Central Valley Warriors lost against the Aliquippa Quips back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Central Valley fell 27-17 to Aliquippa. While losing is never fun, Central Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 66th, while Aliquippa is ranked 20th).
Despite the loss, Central Valley saw an underclassman step up: Jance Henry jr rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown.
Central Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Aliquippa, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
Central Valley will face off against Highlands at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Aliquippa does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
