Westville is 2-8 against Georgetown-Ridge Farm since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Westville Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Westville is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Georgetown-Ridge Farm in Illinois (Westville is ranked 266th, while Georgetown-Ridge Farm is ranked 700th).
Westville has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 27 points or more this season. They breezed by Grace Christian Academy at home to the tune of 66-39.
Meanwhile, Georgetown-Ridge Farm scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They secured a 51-47 W over La Salette Academy. The victory was just what Georgetown-Ridge Farm needed coming off of a 66-28 defeat in their prior contest.
Georgetown-Ridge Farm's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ajhon Watson, who scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jase Latoz, who scored 14 points.
Westville pushed their record up to 5-1 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Georgetown-Ridge Farm's record now sits at 3-6.
Westville and Georgetown-Ridge Farm were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in January, but Westville came up empty-handed after a 37-36 defeat. Can Westville avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
