Adding to the longest winning streak in 8-Man Freelance (8 Man) this week, Pacific Lutheran beat Orcutt Academy 38-26. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
Faith Baptist Academy led the league in scoring this week by notching 77 points on Lutheran. Tim Peterson threw for 170 yards and 3 touchdowns and ran for 116 yards during the win.
ANGEL AVINA threw for 157 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Peterson was a passing and rushing force as the Swordsmen defeated the Trojans. Peterson's key target this week was Josiah McDowell, who caught 4 passes for 74 yards.
McDowell was the best receiver in the league this week as Faith Baptist Academy beat Lutheran. McDowell racked up 4 receptions for 74 yards. Nathan Patton helped Faith Baptist Academy's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 53 yards.
Coast Union's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Broncos feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. AVINA has thrown for 1,609 yards and 21 touchdowns this season, while QUINTEN RAETHKE has 39 catches for 824 yards.

Josh Goddard's team made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 602 from 659. The improvement was the result of a 77-28 victory over Ted Repp's team last week.
