Basketball Recap: Notre Dame Cristo Rey Makes It 12 in a Row at Home

Notre Dame Cristo Rey had won 11 straight home games dating back to last season and S Garcia did his part to make it 12 on Thursday. The Notre Dame Cristo Rey Panthers strolled past the Pioneer Charter School of Science Panthers with points to spare, taking the game 68-54 thanks in part to Garcia, who posted 21 points. His evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Notre Dame Cristo Rey's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Pioneer Charter School of Science, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

As for Pioneer Charter School of Science, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Mystic Valley Regional at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Mystic Valley Regional will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Pioneer Charter School of Science surely won't give up without a fight.
