Leading Dawson Springs to victory were Montgomery Johnston and Rex Blue. Johnston scored 18 points along with six assists and six rebounds, while Blue dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 rebounds. Johnston also posted two+ blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Jaybird Plunkette, who scored 12 points along with two steals and two blocks.
Dawson Springs' win bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Hickman County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-15.
