The Freedom Eagles's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They blew past Miller School of Albemarle 51-10 on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 32-5.
Freedom's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Keilani Johnson, who scored 15 points. Mariah Overton was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
The win got Freedom back to even at 1-1. As for Miller School of Albemarle, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Freedom is on the road again on Friday and play against Xaverian at 8:50 p.m. on December 8th. As for Miller School of Albemarle, they will square off against Grace Christian School at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
