Anders Posts Huge Game in 23-7 Win
Golden West picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Case Anders. Anders was unstoppable, rushing for 137 yards and two touchdowns, while also picking up 55 receiving yards. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
If the past is any indication, Anders could be in store for another big game when he takes on Monache on Friday. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Anders saw the Marauders), he rushed for 223 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.0 yards per carry.

Baxter Made His Presence Known in Monache's 24-7 Win
Monache found a leader in Ty Baxter as the squad took down Mt. Whitney on Friday. Mt. Whitney had no answer to Baxter as he rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries.
Baxter might have his next game, a road matchup with Golden West, circled on his calendar. Baxter rushed for 78 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 70 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Trailblazers duked it out back in September of 2023.

A Season-Best Effort from Jonathan Ruiz Leads Porterville over El Diamante
Jonathan Ruiz produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Porterville to the win on Friday. Ruiz picked up 79 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
This season, Ruiz has caught 6 touchdowns while averaging 61.6 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he had one receiving touchdown.

Jimmie Burk Rounds Out Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Jimmie Burk of Redwood. Burk rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries.
On the year, Burk has run in 13 touchdowns while averaging 112 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had five rushing touchdowns.
