Celeste's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kennedy Compton, who scored 11 points along with six steals. Taylea West was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six steals.
Celeste's victory bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Trenton, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Celeste will take on Whitewright at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Whitewright's defense has only allowed 29.4 points per game this season, so Celeste's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Trenton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wolfe City at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
