After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mt. Shasta, the Butte Valley Bulldogs were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Dunsmuir 56-16 at home. For Butte Valley, this counts as revenge for the 67-41 defeat Dunsmuir walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.
The victory got Butte Valley back to even at 1-1. As for Dunsmuir, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Butte Valley will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Big Valley at 6:30 p.m. on December 12th. As for Dunsmuir, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Elk Creek at 6:00 p.m.
