The Brewbaker Tech Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They fell to Park Crossing 72-67. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (58), Brewbaker Tech still had to take the loss.
Despite the loss, Brewbaker Tech had strong showings from Kevin Honer, who scored 23 points along with six rebounds, and Tyler Dixon, who scored 22 points along with six rebounds. Honer hasn't dropped below 15 points for ten straight games.
Park Crossing had a senior duo take command as Jayden Scott scored 20 points along with three steals and Caden Anderson-teal scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and five blocks. Scott has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryant Berry, who scored eight points.
Brewbaker Tech has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season. As for Park Crossing, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Montgomery Catholic the next time they take the court. Brewbaker Tech will host the Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Thunderbirds will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
