Basketball Recap: Rock Hill Piles Up the Points Against Indian Land

Rock Hill won the last time they faced Indian Land and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Rock Hill Bearcats really took it to the Indian Land Warriors for the full four quarters, racking up a 70-31 victory. The Bearcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Rock Hill's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emine Hollis, who posted 31 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Those 31 points gave Hollis a new career-high. Aubrey Stevenson was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and ten assists.

Rock Hill was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Indian Land only racked up five assists.

Indian Land lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Lila Leung, who put up six points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Emily Callahan, who scored seven points.

Rock Hill has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.5 points. As for Indian Land, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.

Rock Hill will welcome Fort Mill at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Rock Hill is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.2 points per game this season. As for Indian Land, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 41-25 loss against Northwestern on the 29th.
