Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy came tearing into Thursday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past Faith Christian Academy 15-1. Considering the Ospreys have won ten games by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Greg Ghoorahoo was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 5-6 when he doesn't). Carter Garland also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .483. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .469 or higher in four consecutive contests.
