Softball Recap: TERRA Environmental Has No Trouble Against Mater Academy Charter

TERRA Environmental won against Coral Gables on Thursday with 20 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. TERRA Environmental blew past the Mater Academy Charter Lions 20-3. TERRA Environmental has beaten Mater Academy Charter the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Mater Academy Charter has come to flipping the script.

Aryanna Hussain was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Gianna Mantaras was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

TERRA Environmental was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .556. They are 7-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

TERRA Environmental's record is now 8-3. As for Mater Academy Charter, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
