In what's become a running theme this season, the Wilson Lakemen gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 49-20 victory over Newfane. The win was familiar territory for Wilson who now have three in a row.
Wilson had a senior duo take command as Peyton McInnis scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and five blocks and Rian Faery scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Faery has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylee Elia, who scored four points.
Wilson's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Newfane, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Wilson won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Lancers at 2:30 p.m. on February 3rd. Elba will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. Newfane does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
