After flying high against the University School of Milwaukee Wildcats  last Saturday, the St. Francis Mariners came back down to earth. St. Francis took a   58-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Brookfield Academy. St. Francis lost against Brookfield Academy in their previous head to head  on January 4th, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the  72-32 score last time.
 Brookfield Academy's win  on Monday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Amelia Rigel, who  scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Madison York, who  scored 14 points.
 St. Francis bumped their record down to 8-10 with that  defeat, which was their third straight  at home. As for Brookfield Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Francis will take on South at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Brookfield Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Milwaukee Lutheran at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
