Lutcher won against Springfield last Friday with 15 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Bulldogs didn't even let the A.J. Ellender Patriots on the board, marking the Bulldogs' second-straight 15-0 shutout. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by six runs or more this season.

Lutcher has been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for A.J. Ellender, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-16.

Coming up, Lutcher will take on Morgan City at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
