Antonian Prep (San Antonio, Texas) beat John Paul II (Corpus Christi, Texas) 52-0 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Daniel Rosenfeld in the first quarter, the Apaches led 40-0 at the half.
Antonian Prep grew its lead to 46 points entering the fourth quarter. AP scored once in the quarter on a touchdown run.
The San Antonio school scored 34 points in the first quarter on the way to a win. The Apaches scored on a touchdown run by Rosenfeld, a
Chad Tatum touchdown run, a touchdown run by Salazar, a touchdown pass by Tatum to
Tobe Akabogu and a Salazar touchdown run in the quarter.
Coming into the game Antonian Prep had allowed 19.8 points per game this year.
John Paul II (0-6) will play a TAPPS Division I District 2 game against St. Michael's next week, while Antonian Prep (5-1) will take on St. Joseph Academy also in a TAPPS Division I District 2 game.
