The DASH United's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They took a 60-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of New Life Christian Academy. DASH was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as New Life Christian Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.
It was another big night for Ty'lik Taylor, who scored 26 points along with five rebounds and four steals for New Life Christian Academy. Jamir Loftin was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight assists and three steals.
DASH's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for New Life Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home.
DASH will head out on the road to challenge Varsity Opponent at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for New Life Christian Academy, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Mount Calvary Christian at 4:00 p.m. on January 19th.
