Circle has been on the road for three straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Rose Hill Rockets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Circle beat Buhler 37-33. Given Circle's advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 80th, while Buhler is ranked 220th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Rose Hill scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 45-12 win over El Dorado at home. That 33 points margin sets a new team best for Rose Hill this season.
Rose Hill got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Addie Rockley out in front who scored ten points along with five rebounds and two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rockley has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Swearingen, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
Circle's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1. As for Rose Hill, their victory bumped their record up to 2-6.
Everything came up roses for Circle against Rose Hill in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 59-19 win. Does Circle have another victory up their sleeve, or will Rose Hill turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
