Owings Mills has struggled against Loch Raven recently, as their matchup on Monday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Loch Raven to victory, but perhaps none more so than Destaney Harris, who scored 14 points along with four steals. Harris has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Maya Gordon, who scored eight points along with nine assists and three steals.
Owings Mills bumped their record down to 1-12 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 16.3 points per game. As for Loch Raven, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.
Owings Mills will be playing in front of their home fans against Dundalk at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Loch Raven, they will head out on the road to take on Rosedale Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
