While Davidson put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Murphy. The Davidson Warriors blew past the Murphy Panthers 10-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Warriors have posted since March 5, 2024.

Davidson got a massive performance out of Hudson Spivey, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. The dominant performance gave Spivey a new career-high in stolen bases. Another player making a difference was Micah Spivey, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

The victory made it two in a row for Davidson and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs over those games. As for Murphy, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Davidson will welcome St. Paul's Episcopal at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. We've got a battle between Panthers coming up.
