Baseball Recap: Hockinson Beats Ridgefield for Their Third Straight Win

While Hockinson's win against Ridgefield wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Hawks skirted past the Spudders 7-6. Winning may never get old, but the Hawks sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Skyler Liddie was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March.

Hockinson's victory bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Ridgefield, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-10.

Looking ahead, Hockinson will challenge Washougal at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last. As for Ridgefield, they will face off against Woodland at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Spudders are facing the Beavers at the right time seeing as the Beavers are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
