After a string of three wins, Alexander Central's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Caldwell Spartans. The contest marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Alexander Central saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sawyer Chapman-Mays, who went 2-for-3 with one double. Another was Graham Hoke, who went 1-for-4 with one triple and one run.
