The Trinity Wolves will take on the Fall River Bulldogs at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Trinity is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.
On Friday, Trinity didn't have quite enough to beat Etna and fell 5-4. The Wolves have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Jessica Brown put in work no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over 6.1 innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

In other batting news, Trinity got a big performance out of Hallee Prather, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Prather has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Adriana Seele, who went 1-for-5 with three stolen bases and one run.
Meanwhile, while it was Fall River who put the first runs on the board on Friday, it was Modoc who put up more. The Bulldogs came up short against the Braves, falling 19-8.
Katie Hawkins was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Zoey Bosworth was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs.
Fall River's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Trinity, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.
