Despite the defeat, Grace Christian had strong showings from Justin Hain, who scored 24 points along with five rebounds, and Davis Reid, who scored 14 points along with five assists and two blocks. Reid has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last five times he's played.
Meanwhile, Blue Ridge Christian came up short against Faith Christian on Friday and fell 50-43. Blue Ridge Christian has struggled against Faith Christian recently, as their game on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Grace Christian's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5. As for Blue Ridge Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.
