After a string of four wins, the Family Christian Academy Lions's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They were dealt a 74-19 loss at the hands of North Kissimmee Christian. Family Christian Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-12.
Izaiah Noel was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with six steals for North Kissimmee Christian. That makes it three consecutive games in which Noel has scored at least a third of North Kissimmee Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Anthony Morales, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Family Christian Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-9. As for North Kissimmee Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 24-5 record this season.
Family Christian Academy will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against West Melbourne Christian Academy on January 30th. As for North Kissimmee Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Landmark Christian at 7:30 p.m. Landmark Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 765th, while North Kissimmee Christian is ranked 337th).
