Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North found their leader in underclassman Antonio Waddy, who scored 31 points along with six rebounds and three steals. That's the first time this season that Waddy scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Aaron Jones, who scored five points along with six rebounds and six steals.
Meanwhile, College Park Academy's 15-game losing streak came to an end last Thursday. They secured a 56-50 W over Crossland. College Park Academy's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for College Park Academy, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road and puts them at 1-8.
Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North didn't have too much breathing room in their game against College Park Academy in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 48-44 win.
