The Peoria Christian Chargers won against the Farmington Farmers last Tuesday with 60 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Peoria Christian escaped with a win against Farmington by the margin of a single free throw, 60-59. The win was familiar territory for Peoria Christian who now have four in a row.
Peoria Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Gavin Walder out in front who scored 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Malachi Persinger, who scored 18 points along with seven assists.
Peoria Christian has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season. As for Farmington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-13.
Peoria Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 70-57 defeat vs. Calvary on the 10th. Farmington will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Brimfield at 7:00 p.m.
