University School of Jackson found their leader in underclassman Haylen Ayers, who scored 28 points. The contest was Ayers' seventh in a row with at least ten points. Lilly Teague was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Jackson Christian's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for University School of Jackson, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-4.

As for University School of Jackson, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Tipton-Rosemark Academy at 6:00 p.m. Tipton-Rosemark Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 388th, while University School of Jackson is ranked 103rd).
