On Friday, Bentworth got the W thanks in part to Ben Hays playing the best football he has all season. Hays rushed for 200 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.5 yards per carry, and also picked up 38 receiving yards and a touchdown. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 65 yards.

The victory for Jefferson-Morgan keeps them at an undefeated 9-0. Gilbert and Jefferson-Morgan will head out on the road to challenge California at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
