Alan Whatley posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Saturday. He struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Manual is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 5-6 otherwise.
