The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Glenn in their matchups with East Forsyth: they've now lost five in a row.
Despite the loss, Glenn saw an underclassman step up: Noni Jones dropped a double-double on 16 points and 15 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jones has scored all season. Zyire Murphy was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds.
Glenn struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Glenn bumped their record down to 6-9 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for East Forsyth, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glenn will take on Davie at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Davie has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 980 points over their last 14 matchups. East Forsyth won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Watauga at 6:00 p.m. on January 13th. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
