Meanwhile, it was close but no cigar for Kingman/Cunningham as they fell 13-15 to Holcomb. Kingman/Cunningham's loss continues a disappointing trend for the squad, making it four losses in a row.
Nickerson's win lifted them to 2-4 while Kingman/Cunningham's defeat dropped them down to 1-5. We'll see if Nickerson's success rolls on or if Kingman/Cunningham are able to steal their positive momentum.
