Magnolia was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but John Curry did his best to prevent it. Curry turned in his biggest game of the season, rushing for 114 yards and four scores on only 12 carries. He is becoming a predictor of Magnolia's success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 2-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

Looking ahead, Curry and Magnolia will look to defend their home field on Friday against Hot Springs at 7:00 p.m. The contest will pit Curry up against the Trojans' star running back Khalawry McClinton. With these two excellent players competing for bragging rights, there's bound to be some exciting action on the field. Who secures those bragging rights? Come back here to find out.
