Xayden Watson went supernova for Trinity Christian, scoring 16 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. Watson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Baganley Donzo, who went 5 for 7 en route to 10 points plus eight rebounds and four blocks.
Laney's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Trinity Christian, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Laney will square off against Heide Trask at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity Christian has already played their next contest (against Laney), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
