Calexico is 8-2 against Calipatria since December of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Calexico Bulldogs will be staying on the road to face off against the Calipatria Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th. Calexico will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 936th, while Calipatria is ranked 194th).
Even though Calexico has not done well against San Ysidro recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Calexico skirted past San Ysidro 50-47.

Even though Calipatria has not done well against Imperial recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Calipatria enjoyed a cozy 64-48 win over Imperial. The win was just what Calipatria needed coming off of a 65-43 loss in their prior matchup.
The losses dropped Calexico to 4-6 and San Ysidro to 1-5.
Calexico was able to grind out a solid win over Calipatria when the teams last played back in December of 2022, winning 55-46. The rematch might be a little tougher for Calexico since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
