Amaya Dirscherl made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those doubles marked the first that she has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Shawna Griffin, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and one double.

Lecanto got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 against Nature Coast Tech by a conclusive 6-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
