The Briar Woods Falcons will head out on the road to  take on  the Heritage Pride at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Briar Woods is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
 Briar Woods stacked  a  third blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They blew past Loudoun Valley 17-0.
  Caprice Bohmer made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. Bohmer was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 1-for-4 with a  home run and four  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Alyssa Hoyler, who  scored three  runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Campbell Taylor, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Heritage had to hit the road for their first game and  sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They suffered a  tough 11-1 defeat at the hands of Broad Run  on Thursday.
 Briar Woods' win was  their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 4-0. As for Heritage, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
 Briar Woods took their  victory against Heritage  in their previous meeting  back in March of 2023 by a conclusive  6-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Briar Woods since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
