Zaiden Davis Dazzles in Centennial Win
Centennial picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Zaiden Davis. Organ Mountain had no answer to Davis as he rushed for 104 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 105 yards and two touchdowns.
Centennial's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. Davis and Centennial will head out to take on Clovis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Underclassman Junior Medrano Major Player in Hobbs Victory
While Friday's win was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Junior Medrano. He did his part (and then some), rushing for 138 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, while also throwing for 33 yards and a touchdown for the 'W'.
Medrano and Hobbs will be playing in front of their home fans against Organ Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Medrano will face off against Xavier Perez, the Knights' star signal caller. So who wins this QB-duel? There's only one way to know for sure.

Dylan Hergenreder Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Thursday, Alamogordo had to settle for second even though Dylan Hergenreder put up the best numbers he has all season. Hergenreder rushed for 141 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Alamogordo is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8. Hergenreder and Alamogordo will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Clovis at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.

Rudy Rios' Big Game Leads Centennial over Organ Mountain
Centennial picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Rudy Rios. Rios did his part (and then some), rushing for 52 yards and three touchdowns, while also catching a touchdown for the 'W'.
On the season, Rios has run in 12 touchdowns while averaging 81 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he was only averaging four rushing yards per game.

Tristan Davis Turns in Another Game with at Least Five Total Tackles
Tristan Davis continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his 20th-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least five total tackles. He picked up two sacks, forced a fumble, and made eight total tackles (4.0 for loss). Hobbs is undefeated when Davis posts two or more sacks, but 1-4 otherwise.
Unfortunately for Clovis, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Davis. Back in November of 2023 (the last time Davis saw the Wildcats), he made 13 total tackles (4.0 for loss).
