After a string of five wins, the Rockledge Raiders's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 77-69 hit to the loss column at the hands of Palm Bay. Rockledge was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Palm Bay apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Rockledge's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Terrence Shannon, who scored 21 points along with five steals, and Ryan Blount who scored 27 points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Shannon has scored all season. Mark Christian was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Rockledge's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Palm Bay, they pushed their record up to 16-4 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
Rockledge will take on Palm Bay at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Palm Bay's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four contests. As for they, they will head out on the road to take on Rockledge at 7:30 p.m. Rockledge is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 67.2 points per game.
