After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pascack Hills, the Fort Lee Bridgemen were happy to have found some success on Sunday. They walked away with a 55-43 win over Cresskill. For Fort Lee, this counts as revenge for the 63-42 loss Cresskill walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2017.
Fort Lee was led to victory by Devin Jang and Guy Vickers. Jang scored 18 points, while Vickers dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. Vickers has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Maxwell Greenberg, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Fort Lee's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Cresskill, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fort Lee will take on Dumont at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dumont is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Cresskill, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Emerson at 7:00 p.m.
