On Friday, The Frederick Cadets never let their opponents score. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Tuscarora 47-0 at home. Given Frederick's advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland football rankings (they are ranked 37th, while Tuscarora is ranked 163rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Frederick to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tae Anderson, who rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Montana Williams, who rushed for 57 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries.
Frederick is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Tuscarora, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.
Frederick will be playing at home against Governor Thomas Johnson on Saturday. Tuscarora does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
