The New Diana Eagles will be playing at home against the Sabine Cardinals at 6:30 p.m. New Diana will be strutting in after a win while the Cardinals will be coming in after a defeat.
New Diana entered their tilt with the Roughnecks with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. New Diana came out on top against the Roughnecks by a score of 37-26 on Friday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead New Diana to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jolie Ballard, who scored five points along with nine rebounds and four steals. Ballard has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Abbie Shafer, who scored seven points.
Meanwhile, Sabine came up short against the Bears on Friday and fell 52-43. Sabine has not had much luck with the Bears recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
New Diana has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-16 record this season. As for Sabine, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-11.
