In other batting news, Hunter Koehler was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with five stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Wyatt Maxwell also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
River Valley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .519. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Odyssey Institute only posted a batting average of .357.
River Valley has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Odyssey Institute, they now have a losing record of 4-5-1.
