Softball Recap: Terry Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

While Terry's win against Hattiesburg wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Terry had just enough and edged out Hattiesburg 8-7 on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on four straight.

Alyssa Lake was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing seven innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off seven hits. Lake was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Makenzie Clark, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one triple. Alana Lake was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.

Terry now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Hattiesburg, they dropped their record down to 8-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Terry will have a chance to go back-to-back against Hattiesburg: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
