If Northwestern wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Seneca, they should've done a better job of containing Rylan Harwood. The Bobcats walked away with a 28-20 win over the Wildcats on Friday thanks in part to Harwood, who rushed for 106 yards and three scores, and also threw for 89 yards and one touchdown while completing 71.4% of his passes. He is becoming a predictor of Seneca's success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 3-1 (and 1-3 when he doesn't).

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Reese Gonzales, who picked up 107 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Braden Swift was another key passer, throwing for 160 yards and three touchdowns.

The victory got Seneca back to even at 4-4. As for Northwestern, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Seneca has already played their next matchup, a 41-14 win against Iroquois on the 17th. As for Northwestern, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-0 victory against Union City on the 17th.
